Jordan's Beginning

The pictures on this page show the beginning of Jordan's life. He was very small, but his fighting spirit kept him growing and getting stronger as each day passed. He is a miracle, and a very special little boy.

The pictures on this page and those which follow were taken after Jordan was transferred to Columbus Children's Hospital. Each picture has a description to the right or left of the photo.

Name Tag made by a nurse.

This name tag was made to place on Jordan's Isolette in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).

This is a picture of Jordan's first bed. He would spend at least his first month or more in this enclosed bed. The blankets on top help block out light and make it more personal for Jordan. This is his little piece of home.

Jordan's Animals

These are Jordan's animals providing him with another little piece of home.

This is Jordan's monitor which told the nurses and doctors how Jordan was doing.

Jordan sleeping in his Isolette

Jordan is small but beautiful. He looks so peaceful sleeping in the Isolette.

Jordan always loved being held and cuddled.

Closer look at Jordan sleeping.

This is a closer look at peaceful Jordan safe and warm while being held.

Looking at Jordan up close, I am aware of just how lucky we are to have him in our lives. He is a blessing.

Jordan, up close.

Jordan Up close with eyes open.

Jordan up close. He has his open. This was rare because many times the flash of the camera would make him close them. He did not like bright lights much.

Jordan is all wrapped up and sleeping peascfully. Jordan had a hard time maintaining his body heat. Wrapping him snuggly in a blanket helped him stay warm and secure.
