Jordan Gets Stronger

From the day Jordan was born, he was a pure joy. We celebrated the miracle of his birth. Each day, while he was in the hospital, we celebrated each hurdle he overcame and did not dwell on the minor setbacks.

The pictures on this page show Jordan getting stronger. Each picture has a description to the right or left of the photo.

Jordan, happy being held.

In OSU, holding Jordan was limited. At Children's Hospital we got to hold him as much as we wanted, and he loved it.

Mom and Dad bath Jordan.

It was a special day for Jordan's parents when they got to bath him for the first time.

This picture, during his bath, shows his length. He was 15 inches long at birth. He wasn't very big, but he was long.

Jordan all stretched out.

This was a joy for Jordan's Mommy and Daddy. Jordan is just relaxing after his bath.

Jordan in the crib.

The biggest change for Jordan was when he was moved to his own room, and got to sleep in a crib, instead of, the Isolette. This meant he was that much closer to going home.

All of the things that made it feel personal for Jordan were now with him. He is sleeping peaceful in the crib.

Looking at this close up, it is easy to see how Jordan changed as he got bigger and stronger.
