Many will ask why I chose to do this so abruptly after just doing the work I did this year and adding services to the program?
Although, it seems to have happened abruptly, it is a decision which I have come to with a bunch of thought in the past few weeks. There are many reasons for this decision.
First, I started web sites to help victims of abuse and tragedy. Since, running the awards program, this has lessoned. It did not stop, but it made it harder to keep up with all the demands. A rated awards program is difficult by any standard. It is hard to get anything accomplished when you have to continue to keep up with the hectic pace of an awards program.
Finally, my writing career is beginning to take off. I am writing more and working on another book. There will be less time to work on the awards program.
With all the activities I am currently involved in now, and my continued need to be there for those who suffer; there is just no time to run Becky K's Awards Program.
I am going to continue to give awards, but through TLTH Topsite. These are only annual awards and are given based on the activitiy of sites. Any one wishing to take part, may join TLTH Topsite.
Those who have won my awards are welcome to keep them. You earned them, and I want you all to know that I appreciate the support you all have given me throughout the time I ran Becky K's Awards Program.
