Scripture Reading ... Luke 22:7-38

Jesus, knowing He was about to sacrifice His life, wanted to share one last passover feast with His disciples. Also, it represented and a new activity which He wanted His disciples and all uf us to carry out in remembrance of Him.

The Last Supper is significant to the Christian because it is the foundation for communion. It was the first communion. It represents the sacrifice of Jesus to save us all from sin and damnation. It is a part of the Christian life and is frequently practiced in many Churches. It represnts the blood and body of Jesus which was given as a sacrifice for us all.

We must never forget the significance of the sacrifice which Jesus paid for us.
