Are we letting our light shine?

When we get saved and born again, a light is lit in our hearts. Jesus the savior is the light which dwells there. He is a reflection of our salvation.

If our light is shining then, we are walking, living, and expressing ourselves as Jesus would have us to and following the example he set for us when he walked the earth. We could never be as perfect as Jesus, but we can strive to do our best.

Many may believe, because I do not beat people over the head with Christian facts, I am not letting my light shine. Oh, please understand, I am not trying to make myself look better then I am. I certainly am not perfect. nor am I an authority here. I am using this as an example of what I mean by "Letting our light shine."

"Actions speak louder than words." I am sure everyone has heard that phrase a time or two. When we spend our time in service to others, we can't help to express the peace we have in our hearts. The passing on of experiences is a gift given to help them, and it is ordained by God. This is what I try to live by in everything I do. My life is dedicated to the service of others.

On every page of every site and program I operate, I express love and compassion. These are attributes which are gifts from God himself. These are attributes which Jesus shared with the world when he walked the earth. (Read Matthew, Mark, Luke, & John for this confirmation.)

Yes, helping others will not get us into heaven. The gift of eternal life is freely given, and the debt has been paid. We just merely have to believe in it, and in the sacrifice Jesus paid for us. We must ask him into our hearts to receive it. Helping others is part of showing it to others and sharing it with them.

I have seen a whole lot accomplished to inspire others toward Christianity through my main site. I am not saying we should never mention God or witness for him. Oh no!!! I am only saying that is only one way to let our light shine. If we are living and doing as we should we can witness without ever saying a word. We we do will speak far louder then what we say.

This site is a way for me to continue it and share yet another part of my life with everyone.

This site is a way to use and give more to the glory of God for all he has done for me. I hope to even reach more with it. I want my light to shine even brighter then it has in the past.

We must in all things show ourselves as examples of the true expression of Christianity which has been placed in our hearts. We are walking temples of our Lord.

We must try to offer people a full range of help in the meeting and sharing of the love of Christ. We can do this in words, but if our hearts are true, we will express it without even saying a word.

Let's all work harder to let our light shine to those in dire need of the loving hand of our Savior.
