On Christmas Holiday of 1914, a wonderful and fascinating event took place: the famous christmas truce story on the Western Front during the First World War. It was one of the conflicts that caused the deaths of seven million civilians and about 9 million soldiers. This led to the spread of the “trench warfare”, which became the predominant tactical strategy for both sides. But this story defies the definition of war its like putting a cessation for both troops.

The Ugly Consequences
